Verona, a ground-up single-family residence, draws inspiration from Palm Springs’ Mid Century Modern Architectural heritage. Conceptually, the project is interested in the idea of the reveal, shifts from exterior to interior, public to private, and creates memorable moments at each transition. Connected by a series of courtyards, the property comprises a house, garage, and ADU. The house, deliberately setback and situated along the side of the property, exposes its broad face and communal interior spaces to uninterrupted views of the mountain vista beyond.
